So I usually post every Sunday, we know that…. but what about Friday (Friyay?!). I want you all to have the BEST weekends so I figured this fun post with ideas would be perfect! I plan to do some myself 😉
1 Plan a family movie night. Go all out with a DIY pizza (my fav is sauteed kale, mushroom, onion, sausage crumbles & parmesan), fun Popcorn, and a lot of blankets.
2 Spend quality time with a pet. Whether its taking Lisa Vanderpup for a walk or spending all Saturday morning watching Lifetime movies with Kitty Boo Boo squeeze some time in with your best friend. Studies show just gazing into your pets eyes for 10 seconds relieves stress and boosts mood.
3 Take a trip to your local farmer’s market. Whether its warm or cold, there’s no doubt your local farmers market is up an running (check your community websites to find whether its hosted indoor or out). Picking out fresh basil and homemade soaps will get you in the spring mood.
4 Make some awesome Wine Ice cubes. Freeze leftover wine from your Friday night to use in future recipes or to cool your first glass without diluting. Genious!
5 While you’re at it whip up a batch of coffee, matcha, or fruit ice cubes. Simply brew your favorite brew, fill, and freeze. For fruit cubes fill the first 1/3 of your tray with crushed berries, lemon/lime wedges, oranges, and herbs and fill with water. Freeze & use to spice up your water.
6 Visit your local flea market or vintage store & pick a piece to refinish. We do this almost every week. It’s amazing to see what a little stain and polish can do.
7 Give yourself a new mani/pedi using these Spring nail trends.
8 Turn up the music and get a head start on spring cleaning by clearing out your closet. If you haven’t worn it in a year and don’t plan to wear it in the immediate future.. it’s gotta go. You’ll feel great about decluttering. Bonus points for donating it all!
9 Embrace Hygge with a new candle, warm blankets, and a good book.
10 Embrace the new EMOM workout. Hey, bikini season’s just around the corner.
