Sunday Funday

Happy Sunday my beautiful friends! If you read my last post you know I’ve spent my weekend taking care of my sick man. I also worked this weekend which actually isn’t that bad. The weekends aren’t really busy, it’s just that all of the customers come in at the last minute which is stressful because I always have to kick them out. Rude.

I did a lot of studying (boring), reading (double boring), and skincare this weekend. I waxed my eyebrows with my new waxing kit, tried on a new origins mask which I love. I red up on cosmo, womens health, redbook, and my new book The Girls, which I’ve wanted forever but was always sold out.

Today is also a super special day because it’s mine and elliotts 6 year anniversary. Man does time fly, I can’t believe it’s been 6 years already. I’m so grateful to have Elliott  in my life and can’t imagine a life without him. He is my rock, and keeps me sane. So here’s to my favorite man, who will no doubt be reading this blog post soon 😉 ❤

What did you do this weekend?

Here are my favorite links from around the web this week.

  2. Thank you for the “beautiful friends” intro Miranda! Sometimes I don’t feel all that beautiful running after 4 kids but I do what I can. I hope Elliott starts to feel better. Based on what you said , he is worth caring for when he is sick, it is fun to play nursemaid once in a while! have been guilty of coming into a store really late too and feel bad then as I know the staff just want to get home, especially on Saturday Night.

    1. Well I’m glad to make you feel beautiful! Beauty comes from the inside anyways and taking care of your children is a beautiful act❤ Elliott is certainly high maintenence when he’s sick but you’re right it’s worth it and he deserves it haha. I don’t mind the last minute people who need something but my job has repeat customers that know when we close but come last minute every day anyways! Drives me absolutely crazy

  3. I didn’t get to finish reacting to your blog post, I got distracted by the kids and didn’t want to lose what I had written in earlier comment, I guess the studying has to take place, sorry you had to go through it Dear. The waxing and mask sound a little more fun, did you enjoy them ? Congrats to you two on 6 years, time does fly , just ask me , lol! This weekend was low key, took son to karate Friday and Saturday morning, then got a haircut later saturday, brought kids to movie night at church sat evening, finding Dory, (cute!) Then church this morning and relaxing and had to watch some football this afternoon /evening, the things we do! I love all above especially 2,3 5, 8 and 9. Have a wonderful week Miranda, huggs, Terri❤ xoxo.
