Hello Everyone, sorry I’ve been MIA this week .. I actually came down with a terrible sinus infection/chest cold 😦 So pretty much all I’ve been doing is waking up, going to the gym, working long hours all week (le sigh) and then just coming home and eating real quick, snuggling, and sleep lol
I hope you are all doing MUCH better haha.
Anywho, this is my list of lust for the month of October. I’ve seen/read about all of these products a lot lately and am having a hard time resisting buying them all. Though some are expensive, I also included a cheaper swap out that is equally as satisfying!
Beauty Wish List
- Dior J’Adore Dry Silky Body Oil.
With moisturizing plum oil, relaxing Ylang-Ylang essence, and added notes of Sandalwood, this lightweight dry oil is meant to be layered over the already amazing smelling J’Adore parfum for a deeper, sultry scent that lasts all day. (57$ at Macy’s)
For a less pricey fix: The Body Shop Cocoa Butter Beautifying Oil. I own this and it is lovely. Moisturizing Marula Oil makes for a lightweight moisturizing oil with a sweet cocoa butter scent.
- Mac Vamplify Lipgloss in Peer Pressure.
First of all I love this color, which is a deep burgundy-perfect for fall! It is also supposed to be high in pigment and low in stickiness while also remaining long-lasting. Sounds perfect! (20$ Mac)
For a less pricey fix: try Revlon Ultra HD Lip Lacquer which is only 8$ and is said to have intense pigments and be very long lasting as well as moisturizing. (Revlon)
- Nars Velvet Eyeshadow Stick.
With intense pigment and a smooth glide formula this eyeshadow stick claims to have versatility, precision, and be non clumping (necessary for a creamy formula). (28$ Nars)
For a less pricey fix: Clinique Chubby Stick Eye delivers high pigment shimmer in a large selection of colors for only 17$. No brush required! (Clinique)
- Jenny Patinkin Pin-Point Liner Brush.
I would DIE to try this from what I’ve read. It supposidly makes applying eyeliner incredibly easy (something I’ve always struggled with). It has a rounded pencil-type shape for ultra control and precision. (24$ Jenny Patinkin).
For a less pricey fix: Real tecniques silicone liner brush (4.49$ at Target) promises smooth application without tugging or pulling on the skin.
